An agile beastman had the ball and soon moved near the middle. But after a while with a cover player blocked out of the way Jesiah was given a chance to blitz the carrier. With reroll he failed his chance. Then soon after he was given another chance but failed again! A both down would have sufficed. But the Nurgle side were still halted near halfway. They went for a pass and pulled it off to another beastman. We chased two players after him and blockless Lino got both down. But the thing got up again, blitzed, picked up and gfi in to the end zone to score t8. So close to a great defence but instead Brugas get a perfectly timed TD. The tanner was also permed before half time. We had a brief chance to hit back on the los but just got a ko.
Second half we set up to drive forward. But perfect defence! With a beast and many others tieing us up it looked troublesome. After a failed dodge the Beast then cas'd and retired the Butcher. A big blow. We were outnumbered by 2 and Jesiah moved back. Then the Nurgle side really unleashed the pain. At the end of the match two more blitzers were retired in a brutal destruction of the Plebeians core. Even had a couple of casualties from fouling. They also took down the ball carrier and then pulled off another pass to make it 2-0. Great performance from them. 7 cas to zero and good ball work.
We bought one blitzer back but are still down to 2. The Plebeians will be grieving for some time.”
