Whether the deity of bloodbowl was strong-armed by the noble Bretonnian Lady, simply convinced or otherwise persuaded is down to speculation. What is undeniable fact is that the knights of the team, along with the well received star player Zug, dominated much of the game against a more skilled and experienced team. Certainly the extra training before the match, as well as the assistance of a rather money hungry mage, were also instrumental in the team's victory. Nonetheless, even with everything against them the Monetriste Noblemen fought hard, managing to equalise early into the 2nd half and to put real pressure (and pain) on the Bretonnian team. After such a grudge match fans from both Estalia and Bretonnia are already gossiping about the exciting prospect of a future rematch.”
