“In A Smooshfest against hated rivals, the Rotenbach Razorbacks, the Scimitars once again came away feeling like they could have had more. They did however carve a huge dent in the Razorbacks squad while suffering a similarly shaped gaping hole in their own.

Again Neville Hewitt came out as the one shining light for the Scimitars. Although Jason Taylor may have smashed his way through three players, Neville gets more credit for his hitting efficiency across the game. 8 blocks with 6 knockdowns, 5 armour breaks resulting in 2 KO and 1 cas and yet another game where he didnt even have to clean his jersey as he wasn't ever blocked to the floor. In fact Neville caused a key turn over when his opponents failed a block and ended up face down themselves!

Tony Bergstrom must also get some praise for the game. The gnarled and somewhat broken down veteran is still consistently putting in a shift when he is healthy. His particular workshift today was 14 total assists! What a game!

Scimitars finish out the season against the behemoth Wolfskins next time out.”
