“It was a beautiful day for Blood Bowl, and the players' helmets glinted in the sun as they jogged out onto the pitch. The High Notes kept the pressure on the ball with their outstanding player, Franz Schubert, the Strength 4 leaping lineman. He managed to knock it loose at least once, but the plucky beastmen kept scooping it back up again, and barely managed to cross the goal line in the first half. The crowd, angry at Gozer's side for inducing the infamous Max Spleenripper, rioted right after, giving the High Notes an extra turn to equalize, but they were unable to capitalize on the chance. Then, in the first few turns of the second, the dexterous elves easily penetrated the Satans' defense to even the score with a sweet pass to a wide-open receiver. After Schubert tripped and knocked himself out in the dying moments of the game, the pressure for the Satans was somewhat relieved, although the elves still almost pulled off a risky dodge into enemy tackle zones for a 1d blitz on the ball. Unfortunately, this failed and Weasel was pushed into the end zone for the winning touchdown.”
