#9 Driblik – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#3 Gnawr – Dead (RIP)
With the first 15 minutes of this match held up by rioting fans, the first half wasn't very eventful.
The two fledgling teams seemed at a loss to find the confidence needed to make a decisive move. Crusherz were close to taking the lead at one point, but were twice denied at the try line by Middenheim Stormvermin, Gnawr.
By half time, both teams remained scoreless.

The second half began with a quick touchdown by Rat Attack, who seemed to have gathered their nerves over the break.
The Head Crusherz too were approaching the game with more authority and it didn't take them long to make their response. 1-1.

Both teams' lineups were starting to diminish by this stage, not due to casualties but due to rough treatment at the hands of the referee. By the end of the game, 3 Rats, an Orc, and both coaches were populating the Sin Bin.

The frustration of the Crusherz fans was beginning to show, many of whom had turned up expecting a decisive victory of the slightly built ratmen, and the Rat Attack players were forced to the centre of the field in order to avoid their missiles.

The match could have gone either way for the remainder of the half, but as the game clock began to run close to it's goal, Rat Attack burst through the Crusherz line with a decisive throw and quick dash to the line.
Both the Crusherz fans and players were now furious as clearly there was not enough time to even level the score. The dying seconds of the game proved aptly named for Gnawr, who paid for his fine defensive service with his life, as he fell under a host of Orcish boots.

Small consolation for Crusherz, but a hefty price for Middenheim. The match ended 2-1.

'what can I say, my team went out there and tried there best. I'm very proud of my boys. I think we deserved the lead at half time but Mauler Boy was unlucky to be tackled on the Goalline. We came back hard when we were down to level the game but the running and passing game of the Rat Attack found a small hole in our defence and scored the telling touchdown. After getting over his floating stars after the td, Masher Boy, with the help of his teammates took out his frustration on Gnawr. Overall I am disappointed to lose the game but feel the experience gained will help the team in the future.'
