We were able to force a quick score and felt good about that. We had plenty of time to equalize by halftime and receive giving us what felt like a pretty good chance to win.
We had a RR to double skulls + KO on turn 2 which left left us very vulnerable and basically gifted them a second TD to go up 2-0 at the half.
We managed to casualty their best wolf and best flesh golem but both regenerated. Conversely, our 47 SPP Nurgle Warrior was RIPed and our beast was BH without regenerating. We were 11 on 11 to start the second half, down 2.
To start the second half, we needed to score quickly to have a chance, this led us to play rather aggressively, in a position where we needed a ball-carrier dodge to give ourselves a chance, but we failed with a RR. The ball bounced out of bounds and tossed in right next to their werewolf, allowing them to score an easy 3rd TD.
We opened our next drive with a double skulls, allowing them to blitz their way through our line and pressure the ball. Allowing them to eventually add an easy 4th TD.”
