“With many appeals to Nuffle and priests in attendance, the Bear Clutchers took the field on a lovely Wednesday. The fur was soon flying and innocent little Patches was left crushed on the field, tossed to the sidelines like a wet towel after try to play ball with his new friends. (Fortunately, after a little ale and a little rye and he was able to join the game again in the second half.) But half way thru the first half, the lovely Slena missed a pickup and the ball bouncing an incredible nine times through the fingers of the indominable Naemak twice. The ball finally land in the pouch of a very surprised Rippa Roo who dashed down the field for the touch down, but not before Salgadrum the very impressive sent the anchor of the Bear Clutchers, Yarrah the Gray, to the dugout.

The second half saw the poor furry Lumbrians struggle to keep the Emerald Forest Watchmen to but a single answering touchdown.
