“Let us bow our heads to mourn the passing of the best protector a bunch of gutter runners could hope for. We're also putting out a reward of season tickets for life to the bounty hunters who apprehend the "fans" who killed Bully when he got shoved into the grandstand. Our team doctor wasn't about to go near the pushing and shoving going on, leaving our beloved cas-machine to suffer a RIP. Thus passes easily the most successful big-guy any of my teams I have ever fielded.
The game was lost from the get-go. The first block of the game was a bh to my storm vermin w/claws. The next two turns saw two more bh, my thrower and my ma 10 gutter. Turn 6 was when the disaster occurred. Bully was clearing a path for his fellows to follow, sidelining a lineman (stunned) and running out of movement along the sidelines. His teammates surround him, ready to advance the ball. But then two things happened; my surrogate thrower, a gutter, fumbles the pass in the backfield (all teammates are downfield, so he's helplessly outnumbered by humans), and the blasted humans manage to get enough players around my ro to get a 1d block into the stands. Pushback, RIP, no chance at apo. Totally legit shot/tactic, but dammit, why can't apo's work for sideline shots? I'm still pissed...
We'll get Bully's twin brother to join us, but he's busy beating up on kids in the school yard at the moment, and it'll probably be a game or two before we can convince him we'll pay him more than the lunch money he currently steals...”
