“A sudden rainstorm that muddied the field did not dampen the spirits of either team or the crowd of rabid fans. The Scouts were Good Samaritans and refused to foul their fellow elves, but their evil counterparts did not return the favour and stomped many a Wood Elf unlucky enough to be wallowing in the mud for a turn. It seems both teams forgot to check the integrity of their protective cups before the game, and two players were carried off the pitch with strained groins. Coach Gozer learned a valuable lesson that pouring rain affects hand-offs and will try to be more conscious of that in future games.”
