Next drive the Norse weren't to be stopped. They didn't delay and even pulled off a pass before scoring. We still had time and Skeetz went up the flank. The Norsemen crowded in on him but he dodged out, handed off to a linerat and remarkably that then was able to pass to the waiting Skratz to get a key 2nd TD.
Second half the Raiders secured the win with a Skratz TD. Though he did need a dodge again to escape the opposing clutches.
There was time for another Norse drive. We marked up their receivers who rushed forward. Ritz Ditz then killed a loner to finally get us a casualty. He was promptly hit and stunned for this outrage. The Norse carrier then threw a long pass that bounced to a lineman but he couldn't quite get it. After another pick up fail time was running out but after a Headcrusher blitz Skeetz picked up and passed over the crowd to Zloos. Then just a handoff was needed to get a surprise 4th TD through a waiting linerat. But he dropped it. It was to be a crucial fail. The furious Norse then hit at us with the last blitz being to smash Ritz in to the crowd. The fans then ripped Superstar Ritz apart! The apo had been wasted to no effect earlier too. That means we lost our great pair of blitzers in two successive games. There was also a last turn foul on Headcrusher though the big rat was just stunned.
With less than 90K we can't replace the blitzer and the lino. It was a very satisfying scoreline for the Raiders but it could be at quite a cost to our chances for the next few matches.”
