Game started slowly, nothing really happened at the LOS which played to the advantage of Bolts. The 'kicking off foul' by Washington was shrugged off, and recognized by the ref. Then there was a flurry of action, CAS and KO alike on both sides. Luckman suffered a serious injury. We think he will recover from that, and could compensate for it, and help the team going forward. Pats advanced, but Bolts did a great job at pressuring the ball. Glennon had no other choice but to hand over the ball to Smelter, who scored early.
Then the game was decided when Bolts wanted to hurt Pats players (piling on and fouling) rather protecting the ball. Mack was able to sack Miyers, and while Smelter did not immediately recovered the ball, he did so a little later, and stalled for the score.

As it turned out this was a big game for Smelter as Bolts did not manage to field full squad for the 2nd half, and he managed to score 4 times in total. Glennon had the last score, and he also improved his defensive techniques after this game.
