“For once, the luck meter reflects what really happened in the match....the dark philosophers never failed a ball-handle even in the bright and sunny conditions and the POWs were plentiful. I only skulled once and that was on a non-critical one die block with no re-roll. Got KO'd for my hubris. We had one ridiculous run where we dodged on a 2, dodged on a 3, GFI, pick up ball in TZ, dodged on a 2, GFI, hand-off on a 3 all without using a re-roll...and that was after a full turn of dodging and blocking to free up the ball!
The Deamons paid us back by smacking us for 7 casualties...but it may have cost them a TD as they used their RRs on the block dice looking for POWs instead of on the ball handling.
Ah well, each to their own.
