“Nuffle had been giving Coach Joost a hard time lately, and decided enough was enough. Poor coach MattDakka had to face the onslaught of Nuffle overcompensating with good luck what Joost had suffered in bad luck before. Rest assured, it wasn't pretty. Coach Matt took it like a man, cheers for that mate!”
I don't think that my luck was terrible, but in some crucial turns dice didn't assist me (although I tried quite risky moves) and Sweltering Heat and Blitz! when receiving didn't improve my situation either.
Thinking again about Heartearer's crucial failed dodge that cost me the game, the only alternative possible to avoid it was trying to free 1 of the 2 rookie Zombies marking the Blodge Blitzer (a pow was needed), but that could have led to rolling more dice, and I wanted to spare 1 rr to try a GFI with Heartearer and Horatius in order to stall one more turn.
Oh well, at least I had a chance to score. Some failure is needed to enjoy more the success. Thanks again for the game Joost! :)”
