“The Werewolf Hunters elected to receive the kickoff in the first half, amid a short fan riot. They Hunters tried outmanuevering the Harpies, and eventually brought their cage down the middle of the field, which quickly devolved into a big scrum. The ball was knocked loose, and the Hunters fought to suppress their foes to recover. The Harpies recovered first as #4, Maria Eduarda Garcia, collected the ball surrounded by teammates. Maria eventually handed off to Harpies' #1 Júlia Fernández who scored in the closing moments of the first half.
Roudy fans rioted again at the beginning of the second half, as the Harpies went on the offensive. Unfortunately, seemingly demoralized by the first half, the Werewolf Hunters were unable to keep #5, the Harpies quarterback, Manuela López, from scoring twice, the second time off a defensive blitz. Despite winning the game, stadium owners refused to pay out to the women Harpies a copper more than half what the orcs received from the gate.
The coaching staff of the Guarulhos Harpies wish the Werewolf Hunters luck against the Skaven Highlander Sewer Rats, which if anything, are even more slippery. We wish we could report that we'd softened them up for ya... but we could barely catch'em.”
