“We faced up to some Norse here, with the Ogres feeling like breaking things. The Ogres started off with some stuns though Waterboy fumbled. Boomer then hurled a bomb at the Wrestlers and Les was badly hurt in the carnage! The apo fixed him up. Another Norseman was sent off for kicking and stunning Bulldog. Waterboy then picked up and handed the ball to Lucan who was hurled forward by Big Daddy for a successful TTM score in the corner. The bomber was then banned.
After another sending off and then Jim Breaks breaking a Runner's jaw the Norse side were split up. They passed their way back to the middle before Big Daddy stunned the carrier and a snot was able to pick up and get a surprise 2-0 score by half-time. The Wrestling fans were joyous. Les had also cas'd another fella. Big Dave, the Yeti, did cas Bulldog and Les was ko'd in a foul before half-time to keep them with some chance.

Second half Big Daddy again took his chance to smash down the opposing carrier. Lucan got the ball as teammates were felled around him. But he was thrown forward by the one remaining Ogre, Haystacks, to get the 3rd. A great effort.

After that we had few players left. After a missed Norse pass Lucan picked up the ball bravely. He was unprotected and yet again in his long career he was badly hurt before the end. The Norsemen got a TD back. Haystacks was also niggled to put one sour point on an otherwise great match for us. In the last moment of the match Big Daddy shouted "Happy New Year" before killing Steven Seagull!
