“Coming close to closing out the first half of the season in the Fasil division, it was Norse vs Amazon: this much good looking flesh hasn't been on display on the Blood Bowl pitch since Jeera's entire chorus line exhibited mass wardrobe malfunction during the Fumble Cup finals two years ago. While a few came out to watch their favorite Norse beefcakes, the fans were overwhelmingly there to see the Harpies.

EV Snowball Pelleters won the toss and elected to receive. The sneaky Harpies kicked short to the powerful cheers of the audience. After a brief couple scrambles in the widezone, Luiza Gómez broke away with the ball and scored. When the lines reformed, as the were kicking, they rolled down the line of scrimmage, away from the vicious claws of the Yhetee, Octavius Mastercandid, leaving the Yhetee to roar in rage at missing out on a chance to get it's class on another Harpy. In the confusion that followed, the Norse Beserker Jeremius Longwhite apparently ran down the sideline, pushing back the line. A slight nudge sent him over the line where the Harpies' fans attempted to tear him apart. By all appearances, he was dead, but was resuscitated by the skilled hands of the Norse doctors. A scrum soon materialized around the ball carrier in the middle of the field, from which the ball was extracted and delivered into the waiting arms of Giovanna Martínez who delivered it for the second touchdown of the half.

As the second half opened, the EV Snowball Pelleters pushed to pressure the Harpies ball carrier, but the girls' greater experience soon shown thru as half the men were removed from the field on stretchers. Laura Álvarez slipped thru the diminished center of the Norse line to score in short order. The Pelleters which lined up for the last drive were harried and outnumbered two to one, but made a valiant attempt at scoring to the last.”
