“Dalkeith Tavern had crap luck from the get-go. The entire first half was an assault on the Legends from the whim of Nuffle, the feet of the Fingers, and the refs blinded by the rain.
Second half and fielding only five elves, the clouds moved away, the sun shone and that scared the dust out of the Khemri and brought new vim and vigor to the elves. They harassed the bones in their backfield and it wasn't until they tried to stall for a turn that Nuffle decided to whack another low-blow to them, making Pentus (who had recovered the ball and was inches from scoring) snake a dodge into the endzone and knock himself out.
Pentus' fate was better than Mattus, though... as he kept fighting only to be pushed into the crowd and murdered by vendors and camera crew. Space Guerilla hid in his own endzone petrified at the idea a single elf could take him down again.
Man!!... you had crap luck, Joe. Good on you for sticking through it. When I have 1 less foul than you have blocks, that kinda says it all. Good luck elfing.”
