The game went all well for the Patriots, there was no real breakdown. Really almost as flawless as it gets. The only nitpick was that Bortles did not hold onto the ball, was sacked by ogre (1d block), and Miyers made a miracle score. (Also Bortles did not make a pickup in turn1, but that was overcome. We call it a trap play which lured Miyers, and ultimately KOd him.)
Otherwise really good result and performance. Mack and Winston got some flack for not delivering, but now they did. 20 blocks and 5 CAS are extremely respectable numbers. As long as they keep up with that pace, the team will win the games. The rest of the team delivered the budgeted CAS too. They are expected to make 1 CAS, which was fulfilled by Clifton.
The supporting cast did a good job at protecting the weak links, setting the edge, and delivering a helping hand (or leg or body-check) when needed.
Honorable mention goes to Quinton Patton, who had the 1st REAL action, and did not flinch. We are used to the fact that developmental players miss their assignment early in their careers, especially the 1st real action, but Quinton was above that. We are proud of him, and hope he will develop in our programme.
We are sorry to break a tradition, this was the first game when noone died. What a pity. With that said Patriots are well positioned to the playoffs, with 75% record, perfectly on track.
On to the Universe!”
