#14 Maggot – Dead (RIP)
The Rumblers returning to their losing ways, suffering a narrow loss to the Scions of Shannara.

The Rumblers Coach pleaded for the Ref to call off the game as the pouring rain made any chance of moving the ball to a minimum. After receiving the Ball the Scions drove easily down the Rumblers left. With the Rumblers pulling their punches, Ellcrys of the Scions skipped home for an easy Zone.

With the Rain easing off the Rumblers tried to force their way back into the match. However, the Rumblers couldn’t convert any chances they had after moving the ball the dangerous positions.

With the Ref calling for half time the Rumblers had nothing to show for there efforts.

It was the all too similar story in the second half, the Rumblers Rolled up the middle but was blocked off at every turn. Finally the Scions Star ogre Blitzer, Allanon, made a hole big enough in the Rumblers failing line to force a late second.

With The Scions celebrating the well fought win, the Rumblers must wonder how they can cope without Lineman Maggot who sadly passed away.

The bloodiest game I've ever been involved in, from a winning side at least. Sorry about the RIP to your str 4 zombie that didn't regen...

Hard fought, though. I got a tad greedy in getting blocks early on, almost missing out on my first td due to a double-skull block. Fortunately, the rain kept the undead from moving around too much into position to stop me, and I scored anyway.

The rain let up in time for the necros to field the next kick, and it was all I could do to stop them from scoring, but somehow I held.

Next kick went to the necros again, and they started advancing strong, ko'ing and injuring multiple humans. But they left standing the ones which mattered, as I was able to force him to leave the sidelines and head to the middle of the field, where my frenzy blitzer/ogre could pound the ballcarrier down. This is when I got the majority of my cas's, helping to clear the pitch of enough enemy players that I could work the ball loose. It took a desperation td pass with gfi's and without rr's to make our second score, but for once Nuffle was smiling down up on my team.

Good game, stevie, and good luck in the future.
