Played this one solid and while the dice weren't overwhelmingly in my favor, I had no major fails and failed to secure the ball once (and it was early in the 2nd half). Saints pulled out a page from the Halfling playbook and punted in the 2nd quarter... probably hoping the hapless Khrowns couldn't recover. It's probably what I would've done if I were playing against me. We *barely* did recover, and then were able to secure a screen for the defensive score.

Second half - after our first muffed pickup, we decided to go all Ryanfitz and clog the sideline hoping for surf sandwiches rather than secure the ball. It almost worked... enough that the Saints were disheveled enough to leave themselves in poor position while relying on Goff to score. We luckily popped him in the puss and ended his day early... and it was a gentle, yet cautious saunter for the 2-0 lead. Saints avoid the shutout with some last turn heroics by Johnson.

Good game, sir. Surprised we only had the one foul between us... but that first one you were going for kinda put a damper on your boots. Good luck in the rest of the season!”
