NWFL Season 17 game 4

The Raiders may be back on track, as they scored some casualties for the 1st time since game 1---and they win the game to boot.

1st half looked like Joplin was going to score easily, but Ball Carrier Dewitt Churchwe decided to try and run out the clock, which turned out to be a disaster for the Disasters. Campbell was able to get up and blitz Churchwe down, who then tried to dodge onto the ball and pick it up, but kicked it into the stands instead. Brazil went over and tried to get a pass in just to rub it in, but it was inaccurate.

2nd half saw the Sweltering Heat being too much for Joplin's 2 remaining Big Guys (the other was safely in the infirmary) at halftime. The well hydrated Zhar Naggarund players were able to easily get in as time was running out and score. But the fans did not like the leisurely stroll that Campbell took to the EZ, wanting to see White score instead, so they rushed the field in an riot. The game clock was reset, but with more time to play (Coach Xeterog would have protested, but he was in the field house after voicing his displeasure at Abraham getting kicked out for allegedly trying to take Rudy Stanforth's head off.). Not much happened though, as Joplin couldn't handle the ball and White couldn't keep his feet. The fans were disappointed that they didn't get to see Goblin Tommy Fogal fly threw the air (and land on his head)...

no new skills this game, though D. Smith did flex his muscles a bit with 3 casualties.
