The scales of luck swung hard and wild this match for both teams. Khleveland prevails with a stalwart defensive effort, along with a little luck from the weather. We took more than our portion of double skulls, ate them, and asked for more.
Did not appear to be a good day for the Khemri, as the day started with bright sun... but when DeShone Khizer caught the kickoff straight out of the gate, we remembered that was all we needed to touch the ball if we were careful. Plodded up the pitch and was "forced" to score on turn 5 or 6, giving the Psycho Billies plenty of time to equalize. But the rain came in after that score, and that hampered the passing game just enough for Buffalo to let it slip away.
Rain staying in the 2nd half kept the ball on the ground, and while the Billies did a great job of popping Bill Khower onto the slippery ball to play some plinko - the Flesh Golem, Lee Rocker, fancied himself a blitzer and caught the ball. While a formidable ball carrier with ST5, he was not able to outrun the Khrowns. We caught up to him, popped the ball loose, and were able to surround it and the remaining Psychos in order to hang onto the 1-0 victory.
Wacko game, Namloc. I will be cheering for Buffalo here on out, though, as that franchise and I share some sordid history. Good luck with 'em.”
