The Wolves had a steady start to the second half but started to take a few casualties. They did however play the best move of the game where they feinted a retreat down a side line to then full reverse, hand off and blitz a hole to the finish line. The undead were to slow to react and had focused too much on trying to feed the humans to the crowd.
The MFN managed to field a new player (Rubens Palanius) who started the game on the human side but after being turned into mulch came back as a zombie. The wolves attempted a cage break as quickly as possible and had a range of players set up in distance to score. MFN had to make a quick dash out of the cage as far as possible from their own end zone.
The ghoul carrying the ball was just in line for a last turn touch down but the Wolves had not given up. Two players teamed up and took him down. Another dodged away from his would be blocker, picked up the ball ready for a long bomb to a waiting blitzer. He fumbled, dropping the ball at his feet. So the game was going to end 2-1 to MFN.
With nothing else to do the undead decided to hit as many people as possible, hell - why not! Night of the dead really proved himself taking down a blitzer and damaging his back with his only block of the game. This gave him his third casualty, not bad especially compared to the mummies. ”
