“After a game starting with a down pour of rain both teams did not feel confident to pick up the ball, let alone score. The Ganstars though got a good break after the Popsicles poor blocking led to a hole in their defenses. There was a scuffle which ended in the Ganstars scoring the first TD.

The second was scored just before the end of the second half, again by the Ganstars with the help of a fast blitz on kick off.

The second half started with a slow push from the Ganstars who luckily had no issue picking up the ball in the muddy conditions. The highlight of the half was when a couple of blitzers teamed up to push Tam into the crowd. He was tore to pieces by the waiting crowd and was the only casualty from the whole match. Crowd 1, both teams 0.

A third and final TD was scored by Ronnie Kray and this set up a strong win for the Ganstars.

The popsicles pulled of a range of high class passes and hand offs in the last moments of the game but too late to score. ”
