“The Plebeians took on a match vs some angry look Norse. We recieved and early on the Fiddler impressively KO'd the Yeti, while a loner tripped up and was ko'd on our side. The Barrel then killed off a Norsemen for an impressive start. Another lino was ko'd and they tried to block our way until we knocked aside a Wulferener for Jesiah to get the first TD.
The Vikes then marched right back at us. A surf and a KO helping them as they got the equalizer. They were also laying down the boot a bit. The boy was badly hurt but fixed up by the apo.
They received again 2nd half. Held around halfway and probing our line. We caused a couple of KOs and the boy somehow cas'd an Ulfwerener to put them under pressure. They responded brutally and effectively. Our side is lacking Blitzers and suffered again when The Barrel's skull was fractured by the Yeti, and then our catcher Zebedee was injured by a foul! Moments later a loner was hurt too. But a loner then fouled an Ulfwerener to death. What a bloody show for the crowd. We were given a chance to hit the carrier when the Yeti shouted wildly. Jesiah went in and stunned the runner expertly. The ball was left covered but after some chaos we benefited from extra numbers and emerged with it. A lino got the ball and managed to hand it to Jesiah for the winner. A remarkable match.
It turned out to be our 2nd successive win in a match with Blitzer losses. And despite our troubles actually our 3rd win in a row and unbeaten in 7. The Plebeians will go on.”
