“The Blues definitely won the bashing game in this one, quickly removing dark elfs from the pitch. The Krakens were tempted up by a loose ball, got it but couldn't secure it, and it turned into a trap for their better Agility players. The counter blocks/blitzes came off, were followed by a foul or two and off they went. Lots of KOs too but with 7 elfs left the Krakens just about managed to stall the orcs to prevent a TD - at the endzone!

Second half none of the Krakens' KOs came back and they were down to 7 and lacking two of their best players. The Blues soon swamped the cage, took the Krakens down to 6 and recovered the ball. All looked lost but the Krakens managed to split the orcs, who made an unlucky block, allowing the dark elfs to sack the ballcarrier and return it deep into the orcs half before the whistle went!

Good game, the Krakens took a good punching and were happy to get a draw!”
