Silent Bob has announced that this will be his last season, and that he will retire to florida after the season, or maybe Vantaa. Also the knowledge that Doug "Pile On" Paging becomes a free agent after the season, makes the team owners a bit nervous about the future. No one wants to sign up to play for a team that is full of niggling used up have been oldtimers, who seem to have a contract that allows them to play as long as they're alive, possible for ever if they are killed by the undead. And the fact that the team Apoth only seems to help Bob with his old injuries, and no one else who is injured on the field, makes the younger players think about their health.
