Randiga Rustningar, up-and-coming newcomers to the scene, coached by a former champion of LÖBBL IV, were picked by IFK Elfeborg to be their first-round opponents in this seasons's play-offs. Randiga Rustningar, to their credit, managed to defeat their opponents in their first round, and advanced to the quarter-finals, but that's where their story ended. The fact that they had beaten their Dark Elf cousins just meant Coach Kobin Raas had to snack on a different variety of elfs this time around.
Also to their credit, the high elfs of Randiga Rustingar did put up quite the struggle on their way to certain defeat. They hired Prince Moranion to strengthen their numbers, to no real avail though, as star blitzer Ulf Utflyttning sent him packing all the way back to Fancy Town in the game's opening seconds.
From there it was a slow, but sure, decline for the high elfs. For some time it looked as if the game were to go to extension, but The Heroic and Mighty Tranemo Terrors managed to win the game justly in time for the clock.
