Despite postponing the game ad nauseam, the coach MartinSeptim had no choice but to step onto the field on Sunday evening with his Mindaugas squaring off against the Heroic and Mighty Tranemo Terrors in LÖBBL VII's second and final semifinal match. The rumours persisting beforehand - that coach Kobin Raas had spent an inordinate amount of time harassing the opposition with lyrical whimy, is as far as this magazine is concerned completely unfounded.
It seems as if the extra amount of time spent out in the sweltering sun this summer meant that the Tranemo Terrors were a bit more stale than normal. The game ended in a solid victory for the good guys, the first loss in Mindauga's short but overly proud history.
