Threw conventional wisdom to the wind and scored quickly.
Put pressure on the backfield cage and took advantage of a turn of bad block dice for ImpactedAnimal and good ones for me to steal the ball and score again.
Would have scored a third time after the Waaaagh clouded ImpactedAnimal's mind and he tried some freaky dodges, leading to a throw in of the ball next to my free thrower.
Who promptly snaked the gfi trying to get in a better pass range.
First part of the second half was a more traditional orc grind upfield, with up to 6 elves going to the KO box!
They all came back after the TD, though. (thanks, Babe!)
All I had to do was defend the 2-1... and what better way to do that than to set up for another quick score?
Right... One Blitz! kick-off event later, my backfield is swarming with orcs.
After a quick scramble, the thrower has the ball and a catcher is ready to receive it... all I need to do is get in a better passing range. gfi 1, rr... 1.
Lessons learned, get a better thrower. Or play it a bit safer next time.
But all out aggression is fun!”
