“First of all, I must admit that what really decided the outcome of this match was a lot of pushbacks and stunmes.
In the first half, the dwarves had a lot of trouble breaking through. The kickoff placed the ball just next to the LoS, and the result was a clump of players pushing one another around at the top of the field. A dary (a word with the same meaning as "stupid") move trying to get ridh of the guard-linewoman Maria opened up for the ladies to get a clean block on the ballcarrier. However, the scattering ball was catched by a dwarf blitzer. Even the casual observer would think that the dwarves knew better now than to take any risks, and indeed it seemed as if that was the case. Howerver it was not - a clumpsy handover resluted in a new situation where the amazons had a fair chanse to at least stop a touchdown. However, luck wasn't on their side this time, and a TD could be score just before the end of the half.
The second half began strong for Lady Deathstrikers. They quickly made a buildup that'd seem to get them a long way. However the dwarf team actually manage to get players around and behind the amazons, locking up a larg amount of them. Even though the amazon ball carrier managed to dodge out of the way at first, in the end she had too little protection and lost the ball in the middle of the half. A quick save by another linewoman saved a few moments, but being exposed to too many dwarfs made her lose the as well. It was picked up by Rienun, and this time beards`R´us knew to play it safe, ending the match with the score two against zero.
It's not often a dwarf team can run around the opponent and be able to bother from all directions. Possibly, a game with more passes and dodging by the amazon would have turned out different. As it was, the dwarves didn't suffer from getting clumped up in the start of the first half (being rather slow players) and got the possibility to make many blocks, instead of being limited to a single blitz.
All in all a good and fun game, with no too serious injuries (okay, -AG on a thrower is rather serious...). Lady Deathstrikers are welcomed to a rematch at any time.”
