“Longest game ever! Sadly, Sithi had to dip out for personal reasons at the half, and it took us a week to find the time to finish off. And for Sithi, it was clearly not a game he was overly delighted to return to, seeing as how he was down 3-0 and 3 players at the break.
Honestly, I don't remember how I managed to score three in the first half, although if Sithi's dice were anything like they were in the second half, it's hardly a surprise. He blocked more than me, even tucked a little foul in there, but managed not a single injury.
I, on the other hand, seemed to be unable to do anything wrong. So the least I could do was score quickly and try to make the game as painless as possible for the poor dark elves in the second half.
So I don't really have a lot to say for once, except that I'm glad we got to finish the game. Sithi was more than apologetic for the delay, despite having an excellent reason for having to leave mid-game and we finished off the game in a pleasant and friendly manner. And I'll be more than happy to play against him again in the future - even if the odds are against me and I get totally pounded into the dirt. It would only be fair.
As for the wood elves, no MVP for Thursdaynight, but the second wardancer picked up tackle and I was able to afford a new catcher to boost the passing game - which was quite impressive here.

More like this please.”
