I won't go through this one step by step - you can watch the replay if you want to see how one-sided it was - but few things that are worth mentioning...
Fool suffered two injuries, both death. The apo failed on the first one.
I rolled blitz on the kick-off THREE times.
I picked up a lucky charm as a magic item - I didn't even need to use it. I seem to remember one of my players getting KOd at some point early on, but maybe I'm misremembering. Certainly, I had 12 players for each reset (I know because I kept trying to place all 12, being unused to the concept of spare players).
So the first half was a complete walkover. The second half was better, once Fool started to roll some reasonable dice. His blocking was still toothless, but at least he was able to pass and catch the ball without needing too many rerolls, and once he started scoring, the game got interesting. If Fool had got the second and third blitzes, it might even have been close, but as it was, the wood elves got to play exactly the game they wanted to play and nothing ever went wrong.
Chocolateorange managed a very respectable 6 for 62 yards passing - the most I've racked up in a long time - and needless to say, there were no injuries. Plenty gold, too.
I should be delighted with the result, but somehow this victory feels a little bit hollow. I really didn't have to work for it so it feels a bit too much like a free gift. Hopefully, my next game against Fool will be more balanced. He's a great player and really deserved to get more out of this game than he did.
Next time out, I hope he does.”
