“This was the first time Big King had ever missed playing a Hellmouths match. A blizzard swirled around the pitch. Dunkas, one of the Trolls, swung one of his big fists and smashed one of our Herders out of the match immediately. The apo went to work and failed again, leaving the Gobbo dead. A snot had the ball. Their dirty player was taken out when he tried to fight Devil Keepa but fared poorly. There was chaos around the middle of the pitch. Hellmouth leapt in and took the ball carrier down but they recovered after we fumbled and a snot caught the ball. He ran off with the TD line in sight but Hardest Nutz took him out in a clash of heads and was stunned too. Another snot got away but Hellmouth at full speed just managed to take him down with him. Casualties had occurred whilst this had gone on but somehow we had stopped the score. The Pump Wagon was banned.
The snots did a long kick and a perfect defence. It was a touch and go drive but Grobluk managed to get down the flank without anyone getting at him. Some double skulls for the snots helped us out and much of the fighting was held in the middle of the pitch. Another herder lost his life and our Block gobbo Devil Keepa was perm'd!

There was still time left and 8 v 8 on the pitch. A snot fumbled. He got the ball next try and went in the middle. We hounded their Trolls. Devil tried to leap in but broke his jaw after sliding on the snow. A snotling moved forward and tried to pass but it was too far for the little fella. So it remained 1-0 to Hellmouths! Fun match.
