“This match was great fun. It was probably the most odd match I've played - dark elf vs rotters but if you just look at the movements and passes etc it'd seem more like dwarf vs dwarf without bashing. In fact, the only casualty of the game was caused by a chaos beastman falling over making a block (pusback/pow against a player with block, without having block himself). So what about touchdowns? Or rather the total lack of touchdowns, caused by dark elves not able to grab the ball or pass and by nurgle rotters not able to bash their way through.
In the end of the first half beasts for rotting was getting the initiative, but there simply wasn't enough turns left. The game finally ended with a dodge-'em-all showoff by Gilmariand, who ought to be given some spp simply for the beautifull dancing performance.
It was probably lucky for Gormenghast that the match ended there. In the last few turns, a bunch of dark elves were knocked out, and in the end all that saved Gormenghast from a 0-1 result was a failed pass.
Then again - in this match, it was simply impossible to know what'd happen next....”
