“HUBBA Season 17 Block & Dodger Division 2, round 4:

This match started out great for the Nuzzling. With Life Mistakes opting to kick, the Necromantic laid the hurt on the High elves with two RIP and a -ST. In turn 3 Necro score but silly risky, coach Badoek style. In the rest of the first half Life dodge a lot, get hurt less and even Moranion doesn't mind the crowd surf. In turn 7 Life Mistakes make a solid TD. Turn 8: the Nuzzling fail a 1TTD attempt even though a High kick helps them out. A wolf was positioned well enough but the pass failed.

Second half sees Life fall back with the ball and the Necros use them as punching bags. Slowly thinning out the High Elf ranks, the Necro move forward while keeping a few back to deal with the Merc lineman. The Merc stays deep and not down, how rude! The slippery elves get almost through but the Nuzzling, despite being slow as they are, manage to corner them and in turn 6 get the ball loose on the lower side of the field. In turn 7 coach Mattius invokes "Luck time" and gets what he's asking for, including another touch down. Once again the Nuzzling get to try a 1TTD, this time getting VERY far. A zombie dodges twice, once even on a 6+. Pickup goes well, 5+ pass goes well and then a wolf decides to fail his dodge (twice!). Le sigh...
