The humans received first, then promptly lost the ball and saw the elves score at the very end of the first half, only to return the favor after halftime, picking up and holding on to the squigskin after an elf managed to fumble a simple pickup.

Both teams sorely missed basic housekeeping skills on the pitch, and most of the blocks thrown failed to break armor. The high elves played dirty, fouling no less than 8 times over the course of the game.”
