Seems the only way we're able to keep the Mavens from beating us is by 9+ interceptions by our Tombers. Last time it was Brandone “Ark o' Da Khovenant” Bulsworth... this time, Gabe "Lizard" Khing capped off a 3 casualty game with a pick-6. Definitely not something we can count on for the second inevitable meeting of these teams. But something we will take and not regret.
Ground and pound was the name of this game, we just weren't able to do it in 10 turns. So second half of the season, we're preparing for overtimes. We'll need some wins to either wrest the division from Baltimore or pilfer the Wild Card slot from Houston... but we will be looking for the long game. Long season - long game - added a lineman, a reroll, and Frenzy on our hardest hitting Blitz-Ra. Let's see how we do! River is gonna burn one way or another.
