“My 1000th game on FUMBBL, played against my good old buddy, Jalapeno5.

It was a fun game - ended up being a 0-0 draw. He received at the start of the first and I think I defended fairly solidly - tried to get in his face and harass his ballcarrier. I managed to prevent him from scoring, but paid a price in injuries, receiving with only 6 elves at the start of the second half. With so few players and them not being the quickest, all I could really do was play for a draw and try to stop him getting the ball. So, I played my socks off and, with the help of some nice dodging turns, managed to keep the ball away from him for long enough to seal the draw.

So, in the end, honors were shared. Thanks for sharing my 1000th game with me mate - maybe I can return the favor for you sometime :)”
