“A strange match, the 1-0 result belying how long it took to get there.
Receiving the kick off, the Nightmares had a lucky early escape when a defensive blitz went totally wrong, Helmut Wulf chainsawing himself in the face and going off badly hurt before the game had even started.
Sadly, a combination of GFIing without a reroll, and Stuart Liability Little being out for the game after 1 turn, meant the opponents recovered the ball. It was only through a series of incomplete passes that the score stayed 0-0 to half time.
In the second half, the ball went back and forth. Mr Jingles came back from a fractured leg with the help of the apothecary, and managed to knock out an ogre, but although some inspired blocking near the end had multiple opponents off the pitch, the Nightmares couldn't prevent a TD in the 15th turn, and had no way to get a 1-turner to respond, the best they could do was throw the ball around a bit and knock some linemen over.
Still, nobody died. Another rebuilding match as the team crawls towards winning ways.”
