The elves at least made an effort to try to block the stout bearded guys, throwing 35 blocks with 41 coming their way, but the onslaught was too great. Even the mighty Morg 'n Thorg couldn't hold back.

For a while in the second half it looked like the elves had a shot at equalizing to 2-2, but a well placed diving tackler and some of Nuffle's usual blessings foiled their plans. The 3-1 score was pure dwelf-ball, a pickup-handover-pass-goforit score from the line of scrimmage. Beautiful.
