“Ogres and a measly 6 very dodgy runts faced a pact which had problems knocking the little guys over... not to mention the 200 kg big guys.

Ogres got a hold of the ball early on with the AG3 ball carrier and marched down the field, caging him up nicely and protecting him until a turn 6 score. Sadly, a riot broke out in the bleachers (perhaps disappointment at how few fouls were being committed) and the ref decided to cut the first half short by a turn, so there was no chance of an equalizer before halftime.

Second half saw the pact score in 3 turns, then they went after the outnumbered ogre team to try to get the ball. The kick was high, and again the AG3 ogre did an excellent job grabbing it as it fell from the sky. The minotaur did his magic and knocked the ball loose, only to have it bounce into the hands of the ST6 ogre! But again the minotaur came to the rescue and popped it loose.

The game was a reminder that this pact team is still struggling with lack of basic skills all around... hopefully some experience and--better--mutations will sort that out!”
