“The Raiders faced Pro Elves and soon had a linerat in the cas box after one of their fans threw a rock at him. The Elves started well and we allowed them to funnel most of their team down our flank and past us. Poor play and combined with rats being KO'd left us unable to impact their stall. We did get them to move more centrally, and Headcrusher cas'd a lineelf, but it helped us little. After their TD Zloos was aiming for his second ever one turn TTM TD but he was foiled with a trip up by a tackler just before the endzone.
Second half we failed a quick pass near the LOS. The Elves couldn't quite steal it and after some to and fro our thrower emerged with the ball. Ritz Ditz even killed their star Blitzer Harry III with a true Mighty Blow which lifted our deluded fans somewhat. For a moment it looked like we had a chance to salvage a draw from this one if we could stall, but before we knew it a Wrestle Catcher dodged through and brought down Throtz. The Elf was on his own and prime for beating. But elsewhere two rats tussled with one Elf and the Elf fell down with one. We were distracted and the Catcher went off to score a 2nd Union TD! what a disaster. Before the end Zloos did at least score a consolation TD against our depleted opponents.

So the Raiders dreadful run continued. Fans and critics are clamouring for the double Jugs Rogre, Headcrusher, to be retired but the coach points to the casualty caused and vowed opinion will change when he becomes superstar. ”
