“Fun game of elf vs elf. Neither team had any spare players, and it was clear from the kick-off that the game would come down to attrition and who would leave the most elf blood on the pitch. Both teams fouled liberally and aggressively, all the way up to a nice turn 16 boot in the face of a downed catcher--typical Dark Elf style!

High Elf master thrower Sörin Kader had a good game, throwing 5 passes for 47 yards--no funny business, all passes caught and made good use of. Final play of the game was a long bomb to a leaping catcher sandwiched between two Dark Elves who caught the ball without flinching thanks to his Nerves of Steel, then leapt out and ran the ball in for that sweet equalizer.

Tacklers did a fine job bringing down Blodgers on both teams--special mention should go out to star Witch Elf Mistress Donna, who was brought back from within a short and curly witch's hair of certain death by the team apothecary.
