“Friendly Swedish derby game between two inexperienced teams with lots of AV7 on the field. The Bodega did a fair job keeping up with the blocking game, with a few turns where almost every player blocked someone!

Vikings injured two players in the first half, leaving the elves outnumbered and scrambling. Eventually they scored in their own kicking half.

Vikings tried to farm SPP by passing the ball within a cage in the second half, giving the elves a shot at throwing the ball downfield. Unfortunately an ulfwerener was quick to catch up to them and get the ball back for the decisive 2-0.

At the start of turn 16, the crowd erupted in a full-scale riot, and the referee decided to give the teams another turn to play. Due to scorching heat conditions on the pitch and Nuffle's whims, Vikings suddenly found themselves with only 5 players on pitch to the elves' 6. The Bodega had lots of rerolls to spare, and rolled a nice "elf nonsense" sequence of dice to reduce the score to 2-1 (2+ 2+ 4+ 3+ 2+ 2+). A good ending to an enjoyable late-night game, and some useful SPP's for both teams to start to develop. Bodega picked up another lineman, bringing the roster to 14 once we get those MNG's back (assuming no more casualties next game). Give us some more money and we start buying more catchers!”
