“Turn 1 saw an early end, due to a misterious choice of a Pow/Skull instead of Push made by a non-block Amazon. However, the ball was deep enough behind a solid line of ladies, so the Necros did not threaten it.

A push on the left flank was nicely stopped by the rotting team, so the Amazons positioned back to the middle. As the blocking work of the Amazons was quite powful, the Necros could not follow properly, so a bunch of Amazons ran freely on the right. Wolves, Ghouls and Wights finally found their way to the right, but the ladies blitzed their way again towards the other flank and into scoring position. By that time 3 Zombies were in KO/reserve, thus not having enough flesh to correctly surround the cage, the Amazons carried on there hard hitting style and stalled another turn to score in turn 8.
A SideStepper on LoS one end and three Guards backing the other end, OTing was not tried.

Dodge and Block skills really helped already in the offence (with a sole Tackle at the opponent), but in the defence they were priceless. During the Necros offence there was 0 or 1 Amazon downed per turn, so no real chance came for a Necro breaktrhough. Finally, after drawing most of the Amazons to the right, the Blodger Ghoul rushed to the middle with cover by the rest of the team. But a Guard lady making a lucky 1d block, pushed away the corner of the cage and opened up space for a 2d blitz on the ball. And one of the dice was a Pow. Still, there was a chance for the Necros, with a lot of dice roll, tho, to retrieve the ball and score. Once again, Dodge did it: a Frenzied 1d blitz survived by it and made it a -2d second block, which brought down the attacking Wolf.

All in all, many Blodgers and 4 Guards made the (un)life of the Necro team hard. Adding a flawless dice to the Amazon team, victory was assured, even if Thoriin made good defence and had a plan for offence.”
