“Here the Chaquan Lizardmen team faced a side from Middenheim who seem to have a big focus on team training, along with some talented Blitzers.
A Middenheim fan threw a rock at a skink, the Human team rushed forward, and very quickly they scored a TD through a short pass to their fast ag5 superstar Wolfgang.
Santo advanced for us but Wolfgang dodged into 3 tacklezones and tackled down Santo! A journeyskink got the ball but Wolfgang cas'd it. Santo eventually got it back again but again the great Wolfgang blitzed him down and stole. Our Saurii had been doing a lot of pushing around, which wasn't enough for us, and Wolfgang skipped away for an impressive 2-0 lead.
Second half we were playing 9 vs 10, and Santo was stunned in a rabid fan pitch invasion! But we pulled it together and Superiore cas'd a catcher before Santo scored 1.
They did a high kick and pulled their thrower Atze back. When their Ogre Dumbface went dumb as his name Barbarus and others ran through. Superiore cas'd a blitzer to level the numbers. Atze dodged away but panicked into a fumbled long pass attempt. Santo didn't need any more invitation and made it across the line, after a brief stall, for a surprise equalizer.
Fun match. A tale of two halves this one, and the Champions pull off a draw. Superiore and a Human player both claim star status afterwards.”
