“Painful game against bashy Dwarves spamming Block-Guard-Tackle on the Line of Scrimmage, and blessed by Nuffle with quite warm injury dice against the delicate snowflake elves. The weather didn't help either, with sweltering heat being in play throughout the game, though the dwarves (probably because of their beards and heavy armor) had it worse with the heat.

Both the injured rookie elves were retired after the game, leaving only 7 regular players on the roster. This team has a long road of rebuilding ahead of it on the path to completing their line in the grid and being competitive in the E.L.F. tournament... but I am nothing if not patient... and I'm sure my wardancers won't let me down (if they survive).

Throweck's comment that when a wardancer hits the pitch, we owe it to the world to put as many boots as possible in his face was reiterated during the game, and Mr. Nice Guy did just that, taking out the Dancing Queen and landing her in the Badly Hurt section of the dugouts.”
