“Cool game against a human team with no bench. Elves went balls out and tried their best to hurt the humans, every chance they got. Some nice elfballing, throwing the ball around with abandon. Maj-Britt had a fine game, throwing 3 for 26 yards, including a nice Stikki-style double pass.

A funny scene took place when one of the mighty blow elves managed to get a 2 die block on the ST6 ogre and hit him hard enough to gouge his eye (MNG). Apothecary was used to patch him up, but it was still great, and Herr Storch is a hero to the team!

There was a fair shot at 4-1, but a failed 2+ dodge put a bloody end to that dream. There was a somewhat more optimistic shot at 2-3 for the humans, but they were likewise out of rerolls and a failed Go-for-it ended the game.

Thanks to some skill-ups, a player returning from sick leave, and hiring a new catcher, next game will be played at 1800+ TV instead of 1430. I'm already worried about what kind of monsters I'll be facing.
