“Our Lizards continued their good form in this match vs a Dwarf side that included a crippled Trollslayer, a skilled Deathroller, and a fast, agile Runner in their ranks.
We received. Worrying times early on when Quito needed apo help to be able to play on after a poor Dodge attempt, but Rio Grande cas'd the backup Dwarf Runner. Positioning looked tricky but then Diablo and a Saurus Ko'd Longbeards to leave us in good space. That did leave Diablo exposed to the frenzied Deathroller but it skulled it's attack! Santo scored, just after a slayer was badly hurt to leave us smelling of roses.
With the KOs staying out,and the Roller banned we were 11 v 7, and their Runner fled to the back field. Our lizards weren't to be denied, and surged forward. The Runner fumbled his hopefull pass attempt and we were soon 2-0 up.
Second half the Dwarfs had lost hope. They stuck to it for a while with their brave, crippled Trollslayer running at allcomers. But eventually they laid down in protest after another Dwarf was battered, another was surfed, and Spartacus somehow intercepted a pass attempt!
